Please God Save My Swag / DEGREE SHOW 2026

Please God Save My Swag is a visual and sculptural project by SODA POP, presented as part of the 2026 Degree Show of the Department of Fine Arts, University of Ioannina.

The work explores personal identity and self-expression through the aesthetics of streetwear, graphic language and visual noise. Drawing on the codes of contemporary urban culture, it examines the tension between authenticity, constructed appearances and the search for individuality.

This photographic documentation focuses on the relationship between the work’s visual elements, material surfaces and spatial presence. Details, textures and graphic interventions are approached as fragments of a visual language shaped by the contradictions of identity and representation.
