DEGREE SHOW UNDER CONSTRUCTION

Under Construction is a sculptural installation by Christos Fanariotis, presented as part of the 2025 Degree Show of the Department of Fine Arts, University of Ioannina.

The work negotiates the notion of construction, not only as a physical process, but as a state of becoming. Materials appear suspended between completion and collapse. Structures reference scaffolding, instability and transition, forming an environment rather than a singular object.

This photographic documentation focuses on the dialogue between sculpture, architectural space and viewer presence. Details, textures and spatial tensions are approached as fragments of an ongoing proces, a work that resists finality.
